Which consoles and platforms can play Silent HIll Townfall?

Konami has announced that Silent Hill Townfall is coming to PlayStation 5 and computers through the Epic Games Store and Steam.

As of writing, the game has not been confirmed for Xbox Series X/S or Nintendo Switch 2.

Okay, so there’s been no official announcement, but remember how the Silent Hill 2 remake first came out on PlayStation 5 and then hit Xbox Series X/S about a year later? That gives me a little hope that Townfall might follow the same pattern, meaning if you don’t have a PS5, we might not have to wait too long to play it on other platforms.

Silent Hill Townfall gameplay and story details

Silent Hill Townfall is a new installment in the Silent Hill series, taking place in the eerie, fictional Scottish town of St. Amelia in 1996. The town is inspired by the real village of St Monans in Fife, and appears deserted, shrouded in thick fog. Don’t expect a warm welcome, though!

You’ll take on the role of Simon Ordell and be responsible for solving the mystery and setting things straight.

The CRTV appears to be a key element in both the story and how you play Silent Hill Townfall.

This small portable TV will receive signals that should help you uncover the mystery of St. Amelia.

Townfall is played from the player’s perspective, and it’s a standalone story – you don’t need to have experience with other Silent Hill games to enjoy or understand it.

Like any good Silent Hill game, I’ll be dodging enemies and taking them on, but I won’t have a ton of weapons or gear to work with – it’s all about making the most of what I’ve got.

Is there a Silent Hill Townfall trailer?

Okay, gamers, you NEED to see this! There is a trailer for the new Silent Hill game, Townfall! I just watched the official reveal trailer and it looks seriously creepy. It shows off the setting, who you play as, and even some actual gameplay. Seriously, check it out – it’s giving me chills!
