It’s easy to forget about this game, as it was originally announced in 2020 and then faced delays. But SiN: Reloaded is finally on its way! We’re excited to revisit this classic shooter that many of us grew up with. A new trailer reveals the remake will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S sometime this year.
If you didn’t play this game when it first came out, it introduced some really new ideas for its time. You could hack computers, experience a story that changed based on your choices, take damage to specific body parts, disarm enemies up close, and battle genetically modified mutants – all pretty groundbreaking stuff back then.
So, this new game has these crazy mutants running around, and it’s all thanks to this villain, Elexis Sinclaire, who’s got this drug that messes with DNA. As a gamer, I’m playing as John “Rusty” Blade, and I’m basically the only one standing between her and total control of my city, Freeport. Honestly, the story is pretty straightforward, but it’s really well done, both in how it’s told and how it plays. I’m seriously hyped to get my hands on this one!
We don’t have a release date yet, but here’s a trailer to keep you entertained until then.
