Singer Mario Expecting First Baby With Girlfriend Esmeralda Rios

Mario’s heart is crying out in joy. 

In a new development in his life, the R&B artist has embarked upon a fresh stage – fatherhood. On his 38th birthday, he disclosed his exciting news of becoming a father for the first time with his partner, Esmeralda Rios.

Mario wrote on his Instagram Stories for August 27th: “There’s an entire universe inside!” This picture shows him gently touching Esmeralda’s baby belly. “I can hardly wait,” he added.

Just a short while later, the celeb known for “Let Me Love You” likewise expressed excitement about this latest achievement, sharing it on his birthday post on Instagram.

As a devoted fan, I’ve always respected Mario’s privacy when it comes to his personal life. However, he gave us a peek into his romantic journey with Esmeralda through social media. Last June, he shared a video of their date night, capturing them sharing a kiss at a glamorous all-white party in California. Although they generally prefer to keep their relationship low-key, Mario felt it was significant for them to attend the event together.

He clarified during his interview on “The Morning Hustle” last November that he didn’t just go anywhere, but this was one of the exceptions. He felt compelled to take his girlfriend along because he didn’t want to show up unannounced there. In a relationship, he believes, it’s important to act in ways that demonstrate respect towards your partner. Since everything in a relationship is interconnected and open to scrutiny, it’s crucial to consider how your actions might affect the partnership as a whole.

He also praised Esmeralda, noting she looked “f–king beautiful” during their night out.  

“She’s fire,” the Masked Singer alum continued. “I think celebrating love is beautiful.”  

Although Mario hadn’t explicitly discussed starting a family at that moment, he has openly shared his intention of taking time to grow and extend his family lineage.

During an interview with V-103 Atlanta in August 2023, he emphasized that having children is not a decision he takes lightly. Many people he knows, both younger and older, have children, and he acknowledges the mix of advantages and disadvantages that come with it. Additionally, he himself was raised without a father, so when he does choose to become a parent, he wants to ensure he gets it right.
