Should Kody Brown still be interested in having his love multiplied, there’s no shortage of options.
Kody Brown told his wife Robyn Brown on the November 2nd episode of Sister Wives that he’d received another email from a woman inquiring about plural marriage.
He told his last wife that someone had been scolding him for choosing to end plural marriage. Then, she surprisingly offered to step in and help now that Kody’s first three wives—Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown—had already left him.
I was shocked to hear Kody say that Christine was basically challenging him, and then, on top of that, hinting she wanted to become a more official part of the family. It was a really strange conversation to witness, honestly.
To be honest, Robyn didn’t immediately reject the idea. She later confessed that for a moment, she actually considered it, thinking it could be exactly what she’d always hoped for and wondering if it would be a good fit.
Ultimately, though, it was a no from the mom of five.
She was upset they contacted Kody directly. She believes it’s generally considered disrespectful to approach a man who is already in a polygamist relationship; you should always go through his other wives first.

Still, she understands Kody’s appeal.
Okay, so this guy has been married three times, but honestly? The fact that he’s given claddagh rings – which symbolize love, loyalty, and commitment – to four different women really tells me he’s a romantic at heart and genuinely wants to find ‘the one.’ It’s a bit of a complicated history, sure, but I think it shows a deep desire for a lasting relationship.
She explained that a young woman is often drawn to a man who is already married and settled. These men have typically worked through some of their personal issues, have a happy partner, and know how to be a good father. She admitted that these qualities are naturally attractive to many women.
She believes that to many young women, a man who is already married might seem more appealing because it suggests he’s dependable and ready for commitment.
But after failing at having multiple unions, the former salesman is all in on monogamy these days.
Kody explained that he’s received numerous letters from women asking him to consider adding them to the family through plural marriage. They’ve expressed interest in becoming sister wives to Robyn, essentially wanting to marry him and join the existing family structure.
He admitted everyone enjoys some attention, but added that he doesn’t want to get caught up in excessive fuss or drama.
Though he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t just a bit tempted.
Robyn didn’t want Kody to show her pictures of another woman who was interested in him. Kody remembered that when this woman first contacted them, he asked Robyn if she wanted to see a photo, and she declined. Even when someone commented that the woman was attractive, Robyn still didn’t want to see her picture, finding the idea strange.
He told Robyn, emphasizing, “We’re married.” He didn’t want to hear that another woman was attracted to him, even if it felt good to know. He thought the whole situation was a bit absurd.
Robyn reminded her husband that things hadn’t always been so over the top, and he admitted he’d been too quick to want to marry her.
However, he stressed, “It made everything else ridiculous.”
He explained that watching his brother fall in love with Robyn caused Christine to act strangely, as she struggled with the situation. He admitted the core problem was that he wasn’t as committed to Christine as he was to Robyn.
He realized that in any relationship with multiple people, one person will naturally become the focus. He believed men could handle this dynamic, but Christine couldn’t. He admitted he struggled with genuinely loving all the women he was with. He wanted to, and he tried, even pretending at times, but ultimately, he knew it wasn’t sustainable.
That’s just one of the many revelations Kody and his family have made this season on Sister Wives. Here’s a recap of everything they’ve shared lately.

Now that her divorce from Kody Brown is final, Janelle Brown shared on the season 20 premiere of Sister Wives that she’s taking a similar approach to Meri Brown.
Though they were married for 29 years, Christine was never legally married to Kody. She explained on the show’s premiere that she’d considered a ‘spiritual divorce’ years ago but didn’t know it was possible. When Meri pursued one, Christine asked her who she needed to contact to do the same.
Janelle’s former sister wife, who had previously been released from their church due to being abandoned, was glad to help connect her with other family members. Janelle explained, ‘She’s been really helpful in getting me back in touch with everyone.’

Madison Brush is still dealing with the fallout from her father’s actions and choices. Despite being estranged from Kody, she shared on the September 28th episode that she continues to struggle with their separation, especially considering she’s one of his six children with Janelle.
Speaking candidly, the mother of four admitted she hopes her husband’s father will be present, and that they can mend their relationship. She acknowledged her own role in the situation, but expressed frustration at still working on managing her expectations and avoiding disappointment.
She’s having a hard time accepting him as he is. She explained that she’s working on understanding he may not have known how to express himself, and that he could be going through his own pain.
He also might not be willing to cede too much ground.
Kody expressed wanting to repair his relationships with Meri, Janelle, Christine Brown, and their kids, but feels it can only happen if they decide to make it happen. He believes they’ve reached a standstill where healing is dependent on their willingness to try.

Robyn Brown, Kody’s last remaining wife, says she always desired a family, not just a relationship with Kody himself. On the September 28th episode of the show, she shared that she’d received marriage proposals before – not always formal engagements, but several men had expressed a strong desire to marry her at various points in her life.
She consistently stated her intention to enter a plural marriage, saying, “I told him, I plan to live a plural marriage.” She also clarified that if Kody hadn’t already been married with three wives, she still would have expressed the same willingness to him.
Kody explained that, despite not planning to be exclusive, he and his current wife had become a monogamous couple, playfully declaring, “It’s just you and me now.”
Though he admittedly had one concern.
Kody hinted to Robyn that he desired a more fulfilling intimate life. In a private interview, he explained his perspective: he believed polygamy allowed him to have everything he wanted, while monogamy left him feeling unfulfilled.

Meri is actively dating and has a clear idea of what she wants in a partner. She’s looking for a tall man who enjoys traveling – a big priority for her, as she loves road trips. And importantly, he must be a dog person, not a cat person, she shared.
And she definitely needs someone who won’t scare easily.
She recounted a difficult dating experience, explaining that a man she was talking to ended the conversation as soon as he learned she practiced polygamy. He told her he wasn’t interested in continuing a relationship with someone who did, which she found very hurtful. She felt rejected simply because of her lifestyle.
Meri explained that it was the first time she truly understood that some people wouldn’t even want to speak with her because of who she was.

Janelle firmly believes she was the only one in her large family who really desired to settle on Coyote Pass.
On the October 3rd episode of the show, Janelle revealed she never truly envisioned the entire family living on the 14-acre Coyote Pass property they bought before moving to Flagstaff, Arizona in 2018. She discussed the disagreements within the family about the land.
Although Kody’s second wife thought living there could work—she described the land as beautiful and wondered why not—she believed her ex-husband and his other wives were only briefly interested in the idea.
She explained that no one was eager to live in that area, especially not Christine. Meri would have agreed to move if everyone else had been willing.
Janelle observed that Kody and Robyn’s former property, a two-acre home with five bedrooms that they recently sold for $1.7 million, felt unfinished despite being mostly built.
Janelle explained that despite all the initial arguments about dividing the land into four pieces, she quickly realized it wasn’t going to work after they moved to Flagstaff.

Kody believes he knows why his relationships with most of his adult children – excluding Robyn’s oldest kids, Dayton, Aurora, and Breanna – aren’t very good.
He admitted on October 5th that he has difficult relationships with his grown children. He explained that constant teasing and subtle jabs have created problems with trust and loyalty for everyone involved.
And these days, not many of his grown kids are on Team Kody.
Even though Mykelti Padron, one of Christine’s six children, had seemed the most publicly supportive of her father, she shared her thoughts on the family split several months after she, her husband Tony Padron, and their three children moved to North Carolina.
As someone who looks at family dynamics a lot, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful taking responsibility can be. In a recent discussion, I shared that I believe if this father simply owned up to his actions – even just saying, ‘I messed up, I’m sorry, let’s talk’ – it could really open doors with his kids. At least some of them, I suspect. It’s amazing how much damage is done when we deflect blame – onto the children, other family members, or even just ‘gossip’ – instead of acknowledging our own part in things. A sincere apology and a willingness to discuss the issue can truly go a long way towards healing those relationships.

When Coyote Pass was sold in April 2025, Janelle and Meri finalized their separations from Kody and received money from the sale. Christine had previously transferred her share of the land to Kody in return for keeping the profits from selling her house in Arizona.
You know, watching that scene between Janelle and Meri, it really struck me how sometimes people say goodbye in a way that’s… not exactly warm. Janelle’s little quip – and I’m paraphrasing here – was basically a polite way of saying she was done, and honestly, didn’t want to cross paths with Meri again. It was a surprisingly blunt, yet subtle, way to end things, wasn’t it?
But she certainly wouldn’t have waved off an even nicer present.
If she had been legally married to Kody, she stated she would have been entitled to half of his possessions, as they would have been considered jointly owned.

Before Kody and Robyn gave up on their plans for Coyote Pass, they first had to finalize the purchase of their new $2.1 million home. Kody explained on the October 12th episode that selling Coyote Pass only became possible once they found a different house they really wanted.
The father of 18 children is also looking forward to leaving behind the painful memories associated with their old house. He explained, “We’ve gone through a lot of difficult times here, and we’re hoping for a fresh start – a completely new chapter in our lives.”

Kody believed that loving multiple wives meant he had more love to give, but in reality, he found it difficult to give equal attention to each of them. As he explained, he struggled to fully commit to each wife individually, and felt they didn’t always fully commit to him or to each other as a unified family.
Looking back, he realized one mistake was giving Robyn a lavish lifestyle – a $1.65 million, five-bedroom house – while his other wives had more modest living arrangements. He admitted he didn’t understand why his marriages to Meri, Janelle, and Christine ended, but believed the house created jealousy. He felt his wives struggled with him going to great lengths to provide for Robyn’s security and comfort.

Oh my gosh, it was SO hard dealing with Kody, honestly. I mean, he was just… a lot. As if being married to him wasn’t enough, everything had to be just right for him! He had all these rules, you know? Like, super specific about what he ate, and he was obsessed with how he looked – always grooming and making sure everything was perfect. It was exhausting just hearing about it, let alone living it!
Bottom line, she noted, “It was a lot.”
Janelle isn’t interested in starting a new relationship anytime soon, especially after her split from Kody. She admitted to Christine and her husband, David Woolley, that Kody required a lot of effort, and she believes relationships in general can be very challenging.
That’s why she’s pushing back against David’s suggestion to join FarmersOnly. She explained to the cameras, “David just doesn’t understand that I’m not interested in dating right now. I keep telling him, ‘No, no, no!'”

Kody was usually careful about remembering which wife he was talking to. Christine explained on the November 2nd episode that he almost never miscalled them. She said there are times you really don’t want to hear another woman’s name coming from your husband, and that Kody never made that mistake with her.
Though there were some close calls.
I often found myself doing that,” Kody confessed. “I definitely did it – I’d sometimes initiate a conflict and then quickly change the subject or direction of the conversation.

To hear Christine tell it, she felt quite stabbed in the kidney by her former sister wife.
She told David on the November 2nd episode that she felt deeply betrayed by Robyn, explaining she’d lost all trust in her. She revealed she’d shared private information with Robyn, only for that information to get her into trouble with Kody. Because of this, she stopped sharing anything personal with Robyn.
But Robyn insisted she was just trying to play marriage counselor.
Christine often told me she wished Kody understood what she was going through and the difficulties she was facing. I was young and thought I could fix things by helping, but now I realize it would have been better to just let it be.

I’ve followed Meri’s story for a while now, and it was interesting to see how things shifted with Kody. For a while, she seemed almost okay with being seen as his favorite ex, but when he tried to chat about selling their house in Arizona, she wasn’t having it. She completely shut down his attempts at friendly conversation – it was clear she wasn’t interested in playing nice.
He reflected on his conversation with Janelle, saying he wasn’t sure what caused the change in their relationship with Meri. He remembered their move to Parowan, Utah, being a positive experience, but things have become strange since then.
However, Meri maintained she was only interested in business matters, especially after hearing what Kody had shared on camera in earlier seasons.
I had to be firm and set clear limits with him,” she said. “It’s frustrating when he acts like everything is okay on these video calls, being friendly as if nothing happened, especially after some of the hurtful things he’s said about me and my friends. I won’t tolerate that.

Christine happily accepted her now-husband David’s proposal last year, but her ex-spouse believes he should have been consulted beforehand.
Kody explained that his youngest daughter, Truely, lives with David, and he feels he should get to know him better.
In fact, he mused, he “should have had the right, even, to discriminate David.”

Janelle was happy to get her investment back from Coyote Pass and wasn’t upset about the money she’d already given to Robyn and Kody for their house in Arizona.
She explained on the November 2nd episode that her children think she should try to recover the money she invested in Robyn’s house, but she anticipates a difficult legal battle to do so.
She explained that trying to get money from Kody is difficult, because he always has a long list of excuses for why he doesn’t owe it.
He felt he’d already fulfilled his obligation. “Janelle helped Robyn and me purchase our home, and I paid her back in January,” he explained. “After that, in January or February, she told me our debt was settled and I didn’t owe her anything. She said it was more than fair.”

Should Kody still be interested in having his love multiplied, there’s no shortage of options.
He told Robyn on the November 2nd episode that he’d received another email from a woman inquiring about plural marriage.
He told Robyn that his former wife was upset with his decision to end their plural marriage. Surprisingly, she then offered to join his family and get to know him and Robyn better, essentially applying to become part of their household.
To be honest, Robyn didn’t immediately dismiss the idea. She later confessed that for a moment, she actually wondered if it could work, thinking, ‘This is exactly what I’ve always dreamed of,’ and if the people involved would be a good match.
Ultimately, though, it was a no.
She was upset they contacted Kody directly. She believes it’s generally considered disrespectful to approach a man who’s already in a polygamous relationship; you should always go through his wives first.
