The “Good Luck” challenge is one of the most difficult goals to complete in Skate 4. It demands very precise timing and a good understanding of how to get the most air. It’s so challenging that it could easily be the last stunt challenge in the game! If you’re struggling, keep reading – we’ll share some tips to help you overcome it.
Good Luck Goals Guide | Skate 4
Total Slam Score (10,000)

Okay, so the first goal is super easy. Basically, you just need to hit 10,000 points total. Honestly, with how crazy some of the other challenges are, you’ll probably unlock this one just by playing through everything else. So I wouldn’t even stress about actively trying for it!
Caveman Onto the Rooftop + Land in the Rooftop Dumpster
These two things go hand-in-hand, and they’re also the simplest to accomplish.
For this section, perform four pumps while following the arrows leading off the roof. Once you reach the edge, do an Ollie to jump, and then step off your board by pressing the Y button on Xbox or the Triangle button on PlayStation.
When you’re not on your board, perform a Spread Eagle (PlayStation: R1 + X, Xbox: RB + A) to get extra air. Then, steer towards the white rooftop that the arrows are pointing to. As you get near, press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to jump back on your board.
If you nail this trick, you’ll pull off a Caveman – landing on the rounded part of the roof and riding away. It’s a tricky move, so don’t worry if you don’t land it every time. We suggest getting on your board while you still have a little bit of distance to fall.
After completing that step, follow the on-screen arrows, pump, and Ollie off the corner of the roof again. Next, use the Spread Eagle and Torpedo moves (R1 + Circle on PlayStation, RB + B on Xbox) to land on the highlighted dumpster.
This move is surprisingly difficult despite being the simplest one! If you can’t quite make it to the dumpster, try using the Torpedo launch just before the Caveman appears. This will give you a significant speed boost, but it requires precise timing.
Land in the Garage Dumpster
This next objective is similar to the last one. The main difference is you’ll need to jump a greater distance from the second rooftop. Fly into the large parking lot to find the dumpster – the video shows exactly where to land.
To successfully complete this section, you really need to perform either a Spread Eagle or a Torpedo before attempting the Caveman move. Without enough speed and airtime, it’s very difficult. As shown in the video, doing a Torpedo towards the ground can also be helpful. This will bounce your character, giving you a little extra distance if you don’t quite land where you intended.
Land in the Broken Globe
Finally, your last task is to find the cracked globe on the statue located beyond the parking lot. We suggest watching the video above for a helpful demonstration.
To sum things up, you need to climb directly onto the roof, even if you get hit by arrows. Don’t follow the path the arrows indicate; instead, approach the roof from the right side at an angle. Then, jump off the left side of the roof instead of the right, like you’ve been doing. This should help you clear the parking lot much more easily.
Honestly, it’s much harder than it sounds. It often takes many attempts to finally succeed, which is probably why the challenge is named “Good Luck!” A little luck definitely helps you get it right.
So, that’s pretty much everything you need to know to finish the “Good Luck” Challenge and get all its goals in Skate 4! If you’re looking for something a little easier afterward, I’d definitely recommend checking out the “Bushwacker” Challenge – it’s way simpler, honestly.
