In Season 1 of *Skate 4*, players can use Tix to purchase the Skate Pass and unlock a variety of rewards.
This works like a typical Battle Pass found in many online games. You earn rewards by completing challenges and collecting in-game currency, which you can then use to unlock items. It’s a straightforward system!
Now that we’ve covered the fundamentals, let’s dive into how everything actually works in Skate 4. Here’s a quick breakdown.
How to Get Tix & Level Up Skate Pass | Skate 4
To check your Skate Pass, first pause the game. Then, on PlayStation, press R1, or on Xbox, press RB to go to the Skate Pass tab – it’s the one on the far right. There, you can easily see how you’re doing with your Skate Pass progress. It’s a simple process!
To earn Tix, choose the “Tasks” option. You’ll find it in the middle-right section of the screen, as illustrated above.
This feature lets you view all your Daily, Weekly, and Seasonal Tasks. As the names suggest, these tasks change regularly – Daily tasks reset each day, Weekly tasks reset every week, and Seasonal tasks change with each in-game season.
These tasks require you to do things within the game. They vary in difficulty, from repeating a simple action to achieving more complex objectives like finishing several challenges.
Plus, if you finish all your Daily and Weekly tasks before they refresh, you’ll get a bonus reward! This includes extra Tix and Rip Chips.
You can also earn Tix by completing Challenges. Keep an eye on your in-game map for Challenges with the Tix icon. Successfully finishing these Challenges will give you Tix instead of the typical neighborhood Reputation and Rip Chips.
If other methods don’t work, you can also choose “Get Tix” from the Skate Pass menu. This lets you use real money (called San Van Bucks) to buy Get Tix. Whether or not you use this option is completely up to you.
Spending Tix | Unlocking Skate Pass Items
After you’ve earned some Tix, return to the Skate Pass menu and choose this season’s Scene Zine from the options on the left side of the screen.
You can now spend your Tix to trade them in for the many goodies within the Skate Pass itself!
Keep in mind that some items need the Premium Skate Pass to unlock, while others require you to collect all the other items on that page first.
Now you know everything you need to earn Tix and progress through your Skate Pass in Skate 4. Time to go skate and start collecting!
