How to Handplant | Skate 4 – Trick of the Day

Okay, so you want to land a Handplant? First things first, you’ll need a quarter pipe – basically any ramp will do. If you don’t want to go searching for a skatepark, the game lets you just *make* one! Luckily, you actually start the game with a quarter pipe already! It’s a ‘Quick Drop’ item, which means you can place it down super easily. Just hit right on the D-Pad, pick the quarter pipe, and plop it down wherever you want.

To successfully complete this trick, you need to gain enough speed to reach the top of the quarter pipe. As you approach the top, press and hold the RB button on Xbox or the R1 button on PlayStation. This will cause your skater to perform a basic handplant, which is the required trick for the “Trick of the Day” mission.

Also, the daily “Trick of the Day” challenges ask you to perform tricks several times. You can see your progress within the game, but you’ll generally need to land five successful tricks to complete them.
