Here is the full message from Full Circle on the layoffs:
To our skate. community,
Since launching in September, millions of players have explored San Vansterdam, and your enthusiasm and feedback have confirmed our vision for skate. As we continue to develop the game, we’re also evolving as a studio. We’re restructuring Full Circle to better support skate.‘s future and concentrate on what you, the players, care about most – and making those features exceptional.
We’re making some changes to how our team is organized, and unfortunately, a few roles will be affected. These colleagues are incredibly talented people and friends who were instrumental in building skate. Their creativity and hard work are a big part of what makes the game enjoyable today. This decision isn’t about their performance, and we’re dedicated to helping them through this change.
We’re continuing to develop skate. and are excited to keep working with you all. We’re focused on improving quickly, being more responsive to your feedback, and consistently delivering a great experience. We remain deeply committed to skate. and to the players who support it.
To our teammates who are moving on: thank you. Everything skate. has become is thanks to your hard work and commitment.
To our community: thank you for your passion and trust.
—Full Circle
