Snoop Dogg’s Granddaughter Released From NICU After 10-Month Stay

Snoop Dogg’s family has some news and it’s beautiful.

Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, shared wonderful news: her daughter, Codi, is finally home after a 10-month stay in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Codi was born prematurely in February, at 25 weeks gestation.

She announced her baby girl was finally home in an Instagram post on January 6th, sharing photos of them together in bed. She expressed her gratitude for all the prayers, messages, and support she received, saying she believed they were answered.

She also shared a sweet moment with her daughter, who she shares with her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, playfully tickling her as the little girl lay nearby.

Cori, whose mother is Shante Broadus, announced the birth of her baby, Codi, in February. She shared that Codi arrived after six months of pregnancy and spoke about the emotional experience.

She shared in an Instagram post on February 28th that she’d spent a lot of time feeling sad and critical of herself, believing she hadn’t been able to fully support her daughter. However, she also wrote that her faith reminds her she is loved and cherished by God.

Eight months later, Cori gave an update on her baby Codi, sharing that his health had improved and describing him as energetic and spirited.

I’ve been so impressed by her strength and resilience. In a recent interview, I shared with Us Weekly that she truly possesses incredible character. It’s inspiring to see!

Further doting on her daughter, she added, “That girl is just a sweet little firecracker.”

Snoop said that seeing his daughter Codi born and watching her health improve was a major highlight of his year.

Snoop recently shared that his newest granddaughter was born earlier this year. He told People magazine that she was born prematurely but is now doing well. Snoop and his wife of 28 years also have a son, Julian, 27, and two other children, Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28.

The 8-year-old’s grandfather, lovingly called Papa Snoop, shared, “Little C has honestly been the highlight of my year.”
