The classic 90s platformer Snow Bros. from Toaplan is coming to PS5 on February 6th. Get ready to roll!
Okay, so I’m super excited because the Snow Bros Classic Collection is coming out! It’s not just one game, but three versions of Snow Bros. We’re talking the original arcade game from 1990, the NES version everyone remembers (and maybe struggled with!), and even the Game Boy edition. It’s a total throwback!
The three titles included are as follows:
- Snow Bros
- Snow Bros: Nick & Tom
- Snow Bros Jr
If you haven’t played before, this game is seriously fun! You play as one of the Ice Brothers and basically throw snowballs to freeze enemies. Then, the best part – you roll those frozen baddies into a giant snowball and use that to knock out even more enemies! It’s a great way to rack up a high score, and it’s as silly as it sounds!
Every stage of the game ends with a boss battle, and the character sprites were remarkably detailed for their time.
Over the years, there have been several updated versions and re-releases – like Snow Bros Wonderland on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 – but this release features the original games, just as you remember them.
