Solo Catacombs & Clear 5 Bosses In New World Aeternum Season 10

To defeat 5 bosses in the Catacombs during Season 10 of New World: Aeternum, you’ll need to be able to handle them on your own.

In this game mode, you’ll always be part of a three-player team. But don’t feel like you need to stay grouped together! It’s usually better to split up and play independently, especially at the beginning. It can be challenging, though!

This guide offers helpful advice and strategies to help you complete the Catacombs on your own, making your runs faster and more effective.

How to Solo Catacombs & Clear 5 Bosses | New World: Aeternum – Season 10

Gearing Up

To successfully complete the Catacombs alone, your character’s build is the most crucial thing. You’ll need a build that deals strong damage to quickly defeat enemies before the 30-minute time limit. But it’s also important to be tough and able to heal or protect yourself!

Ultimately, you need to find the right mix of attack power and survivability. Focusing only on damage will leave you vulnerable, while prioritizing defense alone will make you sluggish.

You can also tweak that setup if you’d like. For instance, switching to lighter armor to achieve a medium weight load can be beneficial.

Staying around a medium weight class boosts how much damage you deal, and that’s really important when you’re trying to finish quickly. Just remember you’ll be a little more vulnerable, so be aware of that!

To start, it’s a good idea to only use Medium-sized weapons until you beat the first boss. Once you’ve done that, switching to Heavy weapons will make you tougher and could help you finish your run a little faster.

If you’re trying to speed through runs, briefly switching to Light weight armor can be really helpful. It lets you move faster between boss fights, but remember to switch back to your usual armor before taking on a boss!

Finally, your character’s level matters a lot. We suggest you don’t attempt the Catacombs alone until you reach Level 70!

Boss Priority

To make each attempt at the game smoother, it’s helpful to think about which boss to fight when. Bosses aren’t all created equal in terms of difficulty, so planning your approach can make a big difference!

The Catacombs dungeon gets more challenging with each boss you defeat. To make the experience easier, try saving the weaker bosses for the end – they’ll pose less of a problem than if you left the stronger ones until last.

This section of the Catacombs changes a lot each time you play. The layout is completely random, so you can’t always control which bosses you encounter or the order you fight them in.

Everyone probably has their own opinion on which bosses are the easiest or most difficult. Trust your instincts and choose the bosses you feel most confident facing!

We suggest taking down Hadish Azar, Keeper of Flame as soon as possible. He’s very durable and hits hard, even at the beginning of your run. If you leave him for later, he’ll likely be able to defeat you with a single attack.

The Souleater is a boss many players suggest defeating early in the game, ideally before you tackle your third boss. While not as powerful as Hadish Azar, it can become a real challenge if you wait too long, as it summons numerous enemies to help it.

You should tackle The Siren’s Guide early on – it’s one of the first three bosses you should aim for. This boss uses a lot of Rends, which can quickly lead to getting one-shot. While not overly complicated, it can deal a significant amount of damage!

Ultimately, everyone has different opinions on which bosses are easy or difficult. Remember this when you decide in what order to fight them.

Overall Gameplan

As we’ve said before, Catacombs still requires a team of three players. However, being able to complete it alone makes it easier for the whole team to succeed.

Okay, so when we start, let’s definitely split up to cover more ground. We need to explore the Catacombs and figure out where all the bosses are hiding. While we’re doing that, let’s farm those Elites and knock out any Trials we come across. And super important – grab any Ascensions and Aspects we find! They’ll really help us power up before we take on the big bosses.

As we discussed earlier, learning where bosses are and how the areas are set up helps you choose the best order to defeat them. Exploring also makes you more powerful.

After your team has explored a good portion of the Catacombs and become more powerful, you can start challenging the bosses!

Now’s the time for your team to come together and quickly defeat all the bosses. If you’re feeling skilled, you can attempt to take on one or two bosses by yourself before joining the group. But trying to solo more than that is generally too dangerous.

Once the team is assembled, the main strategy is to quickly defeat each boss in sequence. However, the best order to tackle them will change every time because the game randomizes things.

Good communication is really important right now. It’s crucial that everyone agrees on which bosses to tackle and when.

That’s everything you need to know to attempt the Catacombs solo in New World: Aeternum Season 10, allowing your team to defeat 5 bosses!
