A-1 Pictures, the studio behind Solo Leveling, is returning with some announcements in July. They’ll be at a convention from July 2nd to 5th, with a panel on July 3rd, where they’re expected to share updates on all their upcoming projects. They’re also premiering a brand new original series, Grow Up Show, in July. Anime Expo confirmed that the anime producer, Shota Fujii, and the director, Kanta Kamei, will both be there. Kamei previously directed shows like Saekano and Bunny Drop, while Fujii is known for his work on 86 and NieR: Automata.
What Is Solo Leveling: Karma About?
The game was first revealed at Anime Expo last July and will feature a brand new story. It will specifically focus on the popular Monarchs’ War Arc from the original series. While staying true to Chugong’s original plot, the game will also add new scenes and expand on the story.
The game will likely tell the story of Jinwoo going back in time to prevent the tragedies caused by the appearance of the gates. For 27 years, he and his shadow army battled all the Monarchs to ensure the gates never opened in the present day. Though the world didn’t acknowledge his deeds, Jinwoo’s sacrifice ultimately saved everyone, just as he had done before.
Solo Leveling Season 3 Still Hasn’t Shared Any Updates
It’s been over a year since the second season aired, and A-1 Pictures still hasn’t announced whether there will be a third season. Despite the show’s popularity suggesting a renewal is likely, the studio’s lack of communication implies the wait will be a long one.
Season two concluded the popular Jeju Island storyline. Now, the story will delve deeper into the world’s hidden past and explain why Jinwoo received his incredible abilities. We’ll also learn all about the mysterious Monarch of Shadows and his connection to Jinwoo.
