Enthusiasts of anime series are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Jinwoo Sung and the third season of “Solo Leveling.” Regrettably, A-1 Pictures hasn’t revealed the exact date for the comeback of this popular anime franchise yet. However, Jinwoo is making a surprising reappearance in other ways. In an exciting turn of events, it has been confirmed that “Solo Leveling” will join forces with another renowned anime series, “The Seven Deadly Sins,” through a collaboration. Although this isn’t an official anime project, the fusion of these two universes is happening in a way that many anime fans might not have anticipated.
The game “The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross,” which debuted in 2019 and features characters from the popular anime series, has been expanded with characters from “Solo Leveling.” Characters like Jinwoo Sung, Chae Hae-In, and Beru from “Solo Leveling” have now joined the game. Players who enjoy this mobile game have a limited period to incorporate these new characters into their team. The collaboration character banners will conclude on July 17th; however, those who don’t play the game can still enjoy a crossover video merging the two worlds, available for viewing below.

Solo Leveling: Arise
In addition to the crossover featuring Jinwoo and Chae entering the mobile market with Grand Cross, the world of Solo Leveling is also alive within the video game industry through another mobile game titled Solo Leveling: Arise. This game immerses players into a power-fantasy anime realm, offering a “gacha” style experience where the goal is to collect all the characters for your team. Given the success of the Solo Leveling anime series, it’s likely that more video games centering around Jinwoo will emerge in the future.
Although an official confirmation for a third season of “Solo Leveling” anime is still pending, it appears inevitable that we’ll witness the return of Jinwoo and his universe. The anime adaptation boasts an abundance of untapped stories and battles from the original webcomic, or manwha, and a sequel series continues to thrive. Steering clear of major spoilers, “Solo Leveling: Ragnarok” focuses on the journey of Jinwoo’s son as he navigates life in the wake of his powerful father.
Although the initial tale of “The Seven Deadly Sins’ anime has concluded, the series lives on due to the addition of “Four Knights of The Apocalypse.” This spin-off story introduces new characters who are the likely successors to Meliodas and Elizabeth. Over two seasons, this continuation has been broadcast. As Nakaba Suzuki continues to publish new chapters in the manga, there’s a strong chance that another season of the anime may be produced in the future.
