Solo Leveling Star Joins Jujutsu Kaisen Crew As Its Newest Villain

Please be aware that this article contains spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. Ahead of the premiere of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 in January 2026, the studio MAPPA released a special movie to build excitement. Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution includes a recap of the Shibuya Incident arc, plus the first two episodes of the new season. The movie premiered in Japan on November 7, 2025, and will be released in the U.S. on December 5, 2025. It’s been very popular in Japan, and fans around the world are eager to see these highly praised episodes. Season 3 will begin adapting the Extermination Arc from the manga, showing what happens after the intense Shibuya Incident.

The upcoming anime will feature the long-awaited battle between Yuta Okkotsu and Yuji Itadori, as well as introduce a well-known villain. Koji Yusa, famous for his roles as Gin Ichimaru in Bleach and Stanley in Dr. Stone, will voice Naoya Zenin. Though a divisive character, Naoya is a fan favorite from the manga, and his anime appearance has already increased his popularity. He’s a member of the Zenin Clan and will be a key antagonist in the new season.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Casts Alan Lee As Naoya Zenin’s Voice Actor

With the new movie coming to the U.S. soon, the English voice actor for a key villain has expressed his excitement about being part of the project on his official X account. He wrote that he’s incredibly happy to be joining the world of Jujutsu Kaisen as Naoya Zen’in and is still amazed it’s real. He also gave a shout-out to the teams at Studiopolis, GKids, and Crunchyroll for the opportunity. Fans may also recognize him as the voice of Kang Taeshik from Season 1 of Solo Leveling.

I was so impressed with Taeshik! Even though he wasn’t a major bad guy in the story, his amazing abilities really forced Sung Jinwoo to grow, and it was awesome to watch. And you know what else is cool? That’s Lee, the voice actor! He’s seriously talented – I recognize his voice from so many other shows! He was Mystery Saja in KPop Demon Hunters, Junpei Hyuga in Kuroko’s Basketball, Orter Mádl in Mashle: Magic and Muscles, Nico Forgier in Undead Unluck, and a ton of other parts. It’s not the first time he’s played a villain, which is just another reason why everyone’s so excited about this casting news!

The official English X account for the anime is excited to welcome the voice actor joining the cast as a new character. Tickets for Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution are now available, so be sure to get yours! You can also watch the first two seasons of the anime and the prequel movie on Crunchyroll and Netflix. The main storyline finished in September 2024, and you can purchase the manga volumes from the official Viz Media website.
