Besides Aaron Pierre possibly joining the cast, Isabela Merced has hinted at returning as Hawkgirl in “Man of Tomorrow”. She commented on James Gunn’s announcement with “See you soon.” It seems that characters like Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane and Skyler Gisondo’s Jimmy Olsen may return as well, although the specifics are being tightly guarded. However, it has been made clear that while Clark Kent will play a significant part in “Man of Tomorrow”, the film should not be viewed as a direct sequel to Superman, but rather as the next installment in the DCU’s “Superman Chronicles”.
