The first month of *Dancing with the Stars* Season 34 has been full of exciting performances and famous faces as it airs in 2025. Robert Irwin is quickly becoming a standout contestant – his love for animals and natural charm are clear in every dance. Someone recently asked if he’d received offers from male revue groups like Thunder Down Under or the Chippendales, and his response was incredibly sweet.
I’ve been watching the competition for Sexiest Man Alive, and while Dylan Efron is definitely getting a lot of attention, Robert Irwin is really bringing the heat too! His TikTok salsa – he was shirtless, and it was amazing – was set to Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby.” But it wasn’t just that – his tango on One-Hit Wonders Night, dancing to Junior Senior’s “Move Your Feet,” totally proved he has what it takes to be a leading man. He’s got serious charisma!
With all of that information in mind, ET asked the Australia Zoo employee if had heard from Chippendales to host a show. As he bashfully laughed, Irwin provided this adorable answer:
You’re right! And the Australian performers, Thunder Down Under, also got in touch. Good for them!
Considering the popularity of shows like Chippendales and Thunder from Down Under, it was a significant achievement for Robert Irwin to gain recognition within that world. His “Move Your Feet” tango went viral on YouTube, earning a million views and demonstrating his talent for captivating audiences both on television and through dance.
Robert Irwin has shown he’s a natural in front of the camera, both on *Dancing With the Stars* and in a recent Bonds underwear campaign he shared in April. Now that he’s gained attention from major dance organizations, many wonder if he’ll pursue a career in dance after the show. Here’s what Irwin had to say when asked about his future plans:
I’m not interested, and definitely not at this moment. I’m okay with being a little playful sometimes, but there’s a limit – I’m not taking my shirt off.
It wouldn’t be Robert Irwin without a fun dance move, and he definitely delivered on *Ellen*! While fans might miss seeing his energetic moves on a Las Vegas stage, it’s clear he dances simply because he loves to perform. The Irwin family is, first and foremost, dedicated to animal welfare and conservation, and that’s always been their main focus. Still, it’s fun to imagine him joining a show like Chippendales or Thunder From Down Under someday!
Even though Irwin might not be joining a male revue like Chippendales or Thunder From Down Under, he’s still becoming a pop culture figure thanks to his run on *Dancing with the Stars*. Don’t miss his dedication dance to his mother, Terri, which will air on ABC on Tuesday, October 14th at 8 p.m. ET. If you miss it, you can stream the episode the next day with a Disney+ or Hulu subscription.
