SEGA is still churning out updates for its beloved kart racer, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
A new update for the game is coming out tomorrow, February 12th, 2026, and the biggest addition is the popular game, Super Monkey Ball!
The biggest new feature is AiAi, a new character you can play as, who comes with the Banana Cruiser vehicle.
Like other guest characters owned by SEGA, this downloadable content for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be free for everyone.
AiAi was meant to arrive in January, so it’s good to finally see him arrive in the game.
This video also reveals that Tangle and Whisper, characters from the Sonic comic books, will be released as free bonuses soon.
Plus, two more downloadable content packs are planned, adding characters and levels based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Avatar from Nickelodeon.
We don’t know if SEGA has plans for content after the game’s initial release, but they’ll probably share those details closer to the launch window’s end.
