
Everyone’s talking about *Silent Hill f*, but this week also saw the release of *Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds*. As the newest installment in Sega’s popular kart racing series, players who purchased the Deluxe Edition can start playing now. The launch trailer showcases exciting features like character transformations, warp rings, and special Gadgets.
I’ve been playing *Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds*, and it’s pretty cool! There are tons of tracks – 24 regular ones – and you can race as 23 different characters from the Sonic universe, plus some surprises like Hatsune Miku. But the really neat thing is the ‘CrossWorlds’ – these are like portals that appear during a race and totally change up the track. It keeps things interesting, but you gotta watch out! Everyone can customize their ride, so your opponents could build something that gives them a real edge.
You can find a full review on our site. *Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds* launches on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch on September 25th. A version for the newer Nintendo Switch 2 will be released at a later date. After launch, players can expect plenty of downloadable content, including new characters and levels inspired by *Minecraft*, *SpongeBob SquarePants*, and *Mega Man*.
