SEGA has recently completed a trial run of their upcoming kart racing game, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, on an open network. Even though this test phase is over, there will still be opportunities for players to experience the game before its release.
The complete game is about to be released on the 25th of September, however, prior to that date, fans can get a taste with a complimentary, solo-play demonstration.
The news comes via the game’s socials:
At this time, specifics remain undisclosed. However, we do know that the demo is expected to arrive sometime in mid-September.
This can also be referred to as a standalone, solo-player trial version. Therefore, it likely features one or more races for you to compete in.
Most people may have formed an opinion about the game after trying the beta, but for those who didn’t get a chance or desire more gameplay, the demo is coming quite soon.
We went hands-on with the game at Gamescom and came away fairly pleased with it:
Are you looking forward to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds? Would you like to try out the demo, or are you planning on playing it only on its release day? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
