Sonic Team has revealed a fresh tune for the game “Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds”. Given all the portals and travel between worlds, it’s fitting to explore the realm of cyberspace. So, we’re delving into something reminiscent of the Digital Circuit track from 2006’s “Shadow the Hedgehog“, but this time around, the music has been reimagined by veteran artist Takahiro Kai. Take a listen below.
In the United Federation’s mainframe, after choosing the Dark path on Westopolis, you’ll come across the Digital Circuit. Shadow is tasked with disrupting the data flow here. Alternatively, you can bypass this mission and team up with Rouge to hunt for a Chaos Emerald. Contrary to popular belief, this isn’t linked to the Cyberspace levels in Sonic Frontiers.
The game titled “Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds” is set to release on September 25th across various platforms such as PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with a future release on Switch 2. The game features more than 23 characters including Vocaloid artist Hatsune Miku, Ichiban Kasuga from Like a Dragon, and Joker from Persona 5. Additionally, Minecraft, SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Avatar Legends will receive playable characters and stages as part of the post-launch downloadable content.
