Sonic Rumble launches in November

SEGA has announced that *Sonic Rumble* will be released on PC (through Steam), iOS (through the App Store), and Android (through Google Play) in November. You can sign up to pre-register for the game now.

We’re just as excited as you are to get this fast-paced, competitive arcade game into your hands! Everything we’ve done to create this game has been focused on making sure it’s worthy of the Sonic legacy and your enthusiasm.

This November, when the race begins, you’ll get to play the best version of our game we could create. We’ve spent the last few months significantly improving *Sonic Rumble*, focusing on making your experience as enjoyable as possible. This extra time allowed us to completely refine the game based on player feedback, so you can expect a seamless, exciting, and incredibly fun experience from the very beginning.

We listened to feedback from our first users and have significantly improved the product in three important ways.

  • Building a Deeper, More Dynamic Core – We added some awesome features that boost the competitive play. Use iconic skills to obstruct your opponents, and join a Crew with your friends to participate in time-limited events and earn extra rewards. Plus, we added a ton of new stages and new game modes, to keep the arcade royale chaos always at its peak.
  • Refining and Streamlining the Journey – We completely revamped the new player onboarding journey to get new Rumblers into the action faster. We also drastically improved the user interface by putting all mission and achievement-related tasks into one easy-to-navigate hub, so you spend more time playing and less time searching.
  • Improving Progression and Rewards – We carefully updated and simplified the cosmetic and character progression systems, making sure every unlock feels meaningful and impactful, while making upgrades less of a chore. We also fine-tuned the game’s rewards and shop systems to create a clear, generous, and exciting progression path for all players. This even included expanding the score ranks and simplifying certain achievements to make every accomplishment feel like a celebrated win.

These changes were essential to ensuring *Sonic Rumble* remains great over time. And we’re still working on it – expect plenty more updates and improvements even after launch!
