At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Sony showcased the Afeela 1, its electric vehicle that uniquely incorporates features from PlayStation.
The company highlighted some exciting new features at this year’s event, including ways to personalize the vehicle and complete compatibility with Remote Play.
You can personalize your car with designs inspired by popular PlayStation games like Astro Bot and Gran Turismo. These themes change the dashboard wallpaper and even the sound of the electric motor. Wallpapers featuring other franchises, including God of War, will also be available.
You can personalize your Afeela 1 with themes like Astro Bot, and even have it play sounds from the game – which sounds like a lot of fun!
The car will also include Remote Play, letting passengers stream and play games from their PlayStation console at home over the internet. This will require a strong internet connection, and it will be interesting to see how well it performs while the car is moving.
The Afeela 1 is expected to be available in late 2026, with a starting price of $102,900. The Afeela Origin model will follow in 2027, starting at $89,900.
