PlayStation maker Sony Interactive Entertainment has bought Cinemersive Labs, a UK company specializing in machine learning and computer vision. Cinemersive Labs was founded in 2022.
Cinemersive Labs, a team of experts in computer vision and machine learning, is joining Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Visual Computing Group. They will help Sony improve the graphics in its games by using machine learning to make visuals better, rendering more efficient, and overall create a more realistic and immersive experience for players.
