If you love the color blue, you’ll be thrilled to learn about Sony’s new high-end product!
The new ‘Icon Blue’ DualSense controller for PlayStation 5 is a striking shade of blue. This special, limited-edition controller will be available later this month.
There’s a limitation, though: this new controller will initially only be available in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Chile. It will be released on October 20th in the US and Canada, and on October 28th in Mexico and Chile.
It also seems to be exclusive to Walmart, with a recommended retail price of $84.99 US / $109.99 CAD.
Here’s what design team head Leo Cardoso has to say about the thing:
I absolutely love the design of this! It’s based on those classic PlayStation blue colors, and honestly, it just makes you *feel* excited to pick up the controller and start gaming. It’s cool they even included some Japanese writing on the back – it spells out ‘PlayStation’ in Katakana, which is a neat little tribute to where it all started. They call it ‘Pureisutēshon’ – pretty awesome, right?
We’re big fans of the color blue, and we have to say, we really like the look of this new DualSense controller. (Have you checked out our website?)
