There’s been a lot of discussion about Sony’s focus on single-player games lately, but they continue to be a leader in creating fantastic solo gaming experiences.
Last year, PlayStation released Astro Bot, which quickly became Game of the Year. Next month, they’re launching Ghost of Tsushima. And that’s on top of other great games released this generation, including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, God of War Ragnarok, and Death Stranding 2, among others.
The company’s recent report stated its aim to become known as a leader in creating high-quality, single-player games through its internal development teams.

The company also plans to expand its business by offering a wider range of ongoing services, but it remains confident it can succeed in both its current and new areas.
It’s great that the company is focusing on single-player games; last year’s report didn’t highlight these types of games at all.
Fans of Sony’s story-driven games have a lot to look forward to, with exciting titles like Marvel’s Wolverine, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and Saros currently in development.
