It’s not surprising that The Last of Us, one of Sony’s highly successful and beloved series, has received a lot of attention throughout its life. What’s truly remarkable, though, is the innovative methods Sony keeps discovering to showcase this series.
The newest release is a forthcoming anthology book, containing the complete scripts for The Last of Us Part 1, 2, and Left Behind all in one large volume.
This collaboration is titled “The Last of Us: Part I and Part II – Scripts,” where Naughty Dog and Dark Horse Books join forces.
This book spans a total of 618 pages and is scheduled for release in hardcover format, with an introduction penned by the voice actor behind Joel, Troy Baker.
Neil Druckmann, head of Naughty Dog, shares that these scripts written during the game’s creation were primarily for our team as a guide in breathing life into the game’s world. These scripts weren’t meant to be seen by the public – until now. For the first time, we are making them available to you, hoping this unique peek offers an even more intimate understanding of Joel, Ellie, Abby, and the world they reside in.
The script book is scheduled for release around mid-December, and it can be pre-ordered right away from platforms like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, as well as various bookstores and comic shops. The price is set at $69.99.
Due to the increasing fame of the HBO series, they’ve unveiled a game pack and a fresh, timeline-based mode for the upcoming sequel. This novelization is another opportunity for fans to immerse themselves in the universe; we anticipate it will be warmly received.
