Interestingly enough, the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda film has secured its official social media presence, specifically a Twitter account, and at the moment, it’s only following PlayStation and Sony Pictures.
It’s certainly logical since the film is produced by Sony Pictures, but it’s somewhat amusing to note that the account in question chose to follow PlayStation instead of Nintendo without delay.
Initially, the account was activated in November 2023, coinciding with Sony’s announcement of their intent to jointly fund the film. However, it has recently become active, sharing various news pieces related to the movie.
For those keeping a close eye on this project, you’re already aware that British performers Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth have been chosen to portray Princess Zelda and Link in the upcoming film. The release date is set for 2027, so we can expect to discover plenty more details about it as time goes on.
