Studio Bando has released the emotional adventure game, *SOPA: Tale of the Stolen Potato*, on PlayStation 5. It’s also available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC (through Steam and the Microsoft Store) for $19.99, and is included with Xbox Game Pass.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
Miho goes to the pantry for a potato to help make his grandmother’s soup, but instead, he finds himself transported to a magical, faraway world. There, he must follow the path of a legendary adventurer who came before him.
He’ll journey across a strange and vast world filled with scorching deserts, mountains that float in the air, and animals that can talk. He’ll need to be clever to avoid thieves and encounter a cast of unusual characters during his travels.
With each trip back to the kitchen carrying an ingredient, he seems to grow a little, while his grandmother appears to age just a bit more…
