Sophia Bush and More Celebrities at Elton John’s Oscars 2026 Party

It’s gonna be a long, long time before we’re over this epic bash.

The Elton John AIDS Foundation’s yearly Oscars viewing party took place on March 15th. This year, Elton John and his husband, David Furnish, hosted alongside friends Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka.

The Oscars viewing party features Hollywood’s biggest stars, lively entertainment, and a stunning red carpet, plus a special auction to benefit the foundation.

It’s no surprise that the event drew a star-studded crowd, including Dua Lipa, Keke Palmer, Quinta Brunson, Orville Peck, and Sharon Stone, who all made a statement as they arrived at West Hollywood Park. (Check out the red carpet looks here.)

Okay, let me tell you, the red carpet was glowing when Sophia Bush arrived! She absolutely stunned in a head-to-toe sparkling gown – total glamour. And her girlfriend, Ashlyn Harris, completely nailed a chic white suit, pairing it with a beautiful lacy black bra. They were such a stylish couple, seriously!

Elton John and his husband David Furnish, married since 2014, both wore black suits to the event. Meanwhile, Neil Patrick Harris and his husband David Burtka chose navy and red suits.

Every year, the viewing party is a popular event, drawing many celebrities who come to show their support for the foundation’s work. The foundation is dedicated to improving healthcare access and combating prejudice against the LGBTQIA+ community.

In fact, one of this year’s performers is Lola Young, explained why she was drawn to the event.

She shared how much she’s enjoyed getting to know Elton John and David Furnish, and expressed her gratitude for their support of her music. Performing at their party, she added, felt like a particularly meaningful experience right now.

The Grammy winner shared that she deeply values the work being done to help communities in need, and she’s happy to contribute to an event that will make a real difference.

As a lifestyle expert, I know events can be unpredictable, and last year’s wildfires in Los Angeles definitely threw a wrench in things. But David is really optimistic that this year will be a huge financial success, and honestly, I’m right there with him – everyone deserves a win!

He told Variety in an interview on March 10th that while there were many important fundraising requests for Southern California following the fires, ticket sales for their event are very strong this year. They also have a great auction planned and are excited to have Neil and David as co-hosts, and are encouraging attendees to donate generously.

Despite some recent health issues, Elton John—father to Zachary, 15, and Elijah, 13, with his husband David—is feeling well enough to continue working, according to his husband.

“He’s great,” David confirmed. “He’s battling on. He’s keeping busy and moving forward.”
