The survival game Soulmask is officially launching on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store on April 10th. To celebrate, a new downloadable content pack called “Shifting Sands,” inspired by Ancient Egypt, will be released at the same time, according to publisher Qooland Games and developer CampFire Studio.
Soulmask first launched in Early Access on May 31, 2024.
The latest update includes three new ways to play—Survival, Tribe, and Warrior—plus significant improvements and additions. These include a system for positioning tribesmen, an Unlimited Build Mode for creative freedom, a way to upgrade your tribe, and the ability to create your own challenging boss battles.
Explore a vast new world in “Shifting Sands,” comparable in size to the original game, blending ancient Egyptian mythology with futuristic alien technology. With over 500 hours of gameplay, new players can start their adventure directly in this setting. You’ll gather masks representing Egyptian gods to unlock incredible powers, construct and customize your own flying base, and reveal the secrets of a lost dynasty – a story centered around gods, death, and the pursuit of eternal life.
