This twenty-seventh season of “South Park” has been quite remarkable, to say the least. The production team faced challenges with licensing issues and court battles off-screen, but on-screen, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman haven’t held back one bit. Creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have been taking swipes at the current U.S. government, online misogyny communities, and more recently, Labubus. In the fourth episode of this season alone, “South Park” cranks up the intensity with an audacious declaration about the “Prince of Darkness.
If you haven’t watched the latest episode of South Park’s 27th season titled “Wok is Dead”, be aware we’re venturing into spoiler territory. This episode features Butters trying to acquire a rare Labubu for his crush’s birthday, but there’s also some intrigue in the White House. Since the beginning of season 27, President Donald Trump and Satan have been in a romantic relationship – a surprising development in the long-running Comedy Central show created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who aren’t shy about testing boundaries. In an unexpected turn, it appears that Trump and Satan are expanding their family with a new member.
In the closing moments of the episode, Satan announces that she’s carrying Donald Trump’s child, leaving both Jesus Christ and the entire town of South Park astonished. This revelation was humorously made after Butters and his crush had summoned them using a rare Labubus in a dark ritual. With only five more episodes left in the current season, we’re nearing the halfway point for Season 27, and it seems that there will be further developments regarding this unexpected relationship.
South Park’s Bright, Twisted Future
Excitedly speaking here, I’m thrilled about the remaining six episodes of South Park’s current season! But wait, hold your breath, because Trey Parker and Matt Stone inked a whopping $1.5 billion deal with Paramount to continue spinning tales for Comedy Central. That means for the next five years, we’ll get ten new episodes every year, keeping those four kids engaged in wild situations! Remember, these upcoming episodes might not mark the end of our South Park journey. There’s always a chance that Trey and Matt will dream up more surreal adventures beyond these seasons!
Fortunately, thanks to the endorsement from the new Paramount CEO David Ellison, Parker and Stone can proceed with their contentious perspectives on South Park. As early as this summer, Ellison expressed his views on South Park creators, Matt and Trey, saying, “These two are incredibly skilled. They’re equal opportunity offenders and have always been.
