Spawn Arrives on 4K in Exclusive Trailer for Arrow Video’s New Restoration

Though the *Spawn* movie wasn’t well-received when it came out almost 30 years ago and didn’t perform well in theaters, it’s maintained a dedicated fanbase. Now, that loyalty is being recognized with a brand new 4K restoration, and ComicBook has the exclusive first look at the trailer thanks to Arrow Video.

Check out the new trailer below for a first look at the restored version of *Spawn*. Arrow will release the Limited Edition 4K UHD and Blu-ray versions of the film in the U.S. on October 7th. Pre-order your copy here.

This 4K release of *Spawn* includes both the Director’s Cut and the original Theatrical Cut, restored using the original film negatives. Whether you’re a fan of the movie or not, this is the best it’s ever looked, which will please dedicated viewers. Arrow Video has built a strong reputation with genre fans, and this release continues their impressive streak of restoring classic films.

I’m really excited about the 4K release of *Spawn*! It’s loaded with extras, and a lot of them are completely new. One of the best parts, for me, is a brand new, in-depth interview with Michael Jai White himself, made just for this release.

Arrow Video is releasing beautifully restored versions of some classic comic book movies on 4K and Blu-ray. First up is *Spawn* on October 7th, followed by *The Mask* in November. They’ll finish the year with a highly anticipated release: the complete live-action *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* trilogy, also restored and coming to physical 4K in December.
