Spider-Man 4 Plot Update Reveal More on Sadie Sink & Tramell Tillman’s MCU Debuts

According to reports, the upcoming movie featuring Tom Holland as Spider-Man will involve him teaming up with Sadie Sink, playing Jean Grey, while they’re both being chased by a Damage Control agent portrayed by Tramell Tillman.

Tramell Tillman is after Sadie Sink in Spider-Man: Brand New Day

A reliable source, MyTimeToShineHello, claims that Sadie’s character – widely believed to be Jean Grey from the X-Men – will be captured by Damage Control and subjected to torture. Spider-Man will then rescue her. Afterward, they’ll be pursued by a mysterious character played by Tramell Tillman, described as “the guy from Severance with the moustache.”

Similar to actor Carl Sink, Tillman is also expected to portray a character from the X-Men world. Several sources familiar with the production have indicated he’ll play William Metzger, a villain from the ‘Brand New Day’ storyline. However, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Metzger will be reimagined as the head of Damage Control and depicted as someone who opposes mutants.

Sources say that actor Tillman has agreed to appear in multiple future Marvel movies, potentially including the upcoming reboot of the X-Men franchise. Jake Schreier, who is directing Thunderbolts, will also direct the X-Men reboot, which is scheduled to be released after Marvel finishes its current Multiverse Saga in 2027.

It’s still unclear how important a character Tillman will be in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day. While William Metzger isn’t predicted to be the main villain in the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film, that role is expected to go to Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone and Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion.

Tillman is thrilled to be in a comic book movie, regardless of the size of his role. He revealed in December that he’s always dreamed of being part of that world, growing up watching both DC and Marvel comics, and considers it a real honor.

The next Spider-Man movie, titled Brand New Day, will take place after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, where everyone forgot Peter Parker’s identity. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film is planned for release on July 31, 2026, and will be part of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
