The much-anticipated next chapter in Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ blockbuster series is slated for release in cinemas on July 31, 2026.
Tom Holland on filming Spider-Man 4 in Glasgow
In a recent conversation with AFP, Tom Holland expressed his thrill about shooting Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Glasgow’s bustling streets. Fans got to witness Holland portraying their friendly neighborhood Spidey live in action. Onlookers were lucky to catch some filming of the movie’s daring stunts, offering glimpses behind the scenes of our web-slinger’s acrobatic feats.
Yesterday, Holland shared an extraordinary experience as he drove a tank along the main street of Glasgow, surrounded by thousands of enthusiastic fans. He described it as incredibly thrilling, exciting, and revitalizing.
In the upcoming Spider-Man sequel titled “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” acclaimed director Destin Daniel Cretton takes charge, penning the script alongside Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. MCU’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland, leads the cast as he reprises his role. Additionally, Emmy winner Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and possibly more original cast members will return. The newcomers in this film include Mark Ruffalo (Hulk from Avengers: Endgame), Jon Bernthal (Daredevil’s Punisher), Sadie Sink (Stranger Things), Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear), and Michael Mando as Scorpion. Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Avi Arad, and Louis D’Esposito are listed among the producers.
Production is currently underway at Pinewood Studios in England.
