According to recent speculation, it’s rumored that Michael Keaton’s villainous character, Vulture, may reappear alongside Tom Holland in the upcoming film Spider-Man: Fresh Start. Keaton last portrayed the menacing adversary in the post-credit scenes of the 2022 movie Morbius, but since then, there has been no official confirmation about his character’s fate. With actors like Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo set to return for Fresh Start, fans are excitedly discussing the possibility of Vulture making a comeback.
Michael Keaton’s Vulture rumored to return after Spider-Man: Homecoming
Lately, the well-liked figure My Time To Shine Hello (also known as MTTSH) has left Marvel enthusiasts in awe with speculation that Michael Keaton’s villainous character Adrian Toomes, more famously known as Vulture, could make an appearance in Spider-Man: A Fresh Chapter.
In a platform once known as Twitter, MTTSH posted a GIF featuring Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming and stated, “He’s back!” This post sparked numerous fans to express their opinions. One fan predicted that Vulture would take on the role of the primary antagonist. Another user expressed excitement, recalling the shocking revelation that Vulture was the father of the Spider-Man love interest in theaters, eagerly awaiting his return.
However, this is just a rumor, and Keaton’s casting in the film has not been confirmed yet.
In the upcoming movie, Michael Mando, who played Spider-Man’s co-star, will reprise his role as Scorpion. Earlier, during an interview with Screen Rant in October 2024, Keaton talked about the possibility of returning in Brand New Day.
When asked about possibly reprising his role as Vulture in Spider-Man 4, Keaton responded by expressing enthusiasm for the character and mentioning a brief appearance in the second movie that he found enjoyable. He clarified that no discussions have taken place regarding the project. In a humorous tone, Keaton suggested he prefers solitude and then diverted the conversation by stating he avoids interacting with people as much as possible.
