Nintendo recently shared more information about Splatoon Raiders, the newest installment in the beloved Splatoon series. This game is a departure from previous titles, focusing entirely on a single-player experience rather than competitive multiplayer. Players with the new Nintendo Switch 2 console will be able to jump in on July 23rd!
In this game, you play as a mechanic exploring the Spirhalite Islands in search of treasure. You’ll customize your gear with various weapons and tools, then battle Salmonids and gather resources. The Deep Cut trio from Splatoon 3 – Frye, Shiver, and Big Man – assist you, and one of them even uses a robot helper during challenging raids.
You can play with up to three friends online or locally. The game is available for pre-order now and costs $49.99 digitally. Plus, new Deep Cut amiibo figures will be released when the game launches!
Now that release dates have been announced for Rhythm Heaven Groove and Splatoon Raiders this summer, a Nintendo Direct presentation in June seems increasingly probable, according to industry insider NateTheHate. With the month nearly over, fans are hoping for news—and maybe even a release date—for the rumored new Star Fox game. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
