Jeremy Allen White, known for his breakout role as Lip in Shameless, has significantly expanded his career. He recently starred in the Bruce Springsteen documentary Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, which is now becoming available for streaming after playing in theaters.
The film Deliver Me From Nowhere, featuring White as Bruce Springsteen, tells the story of how the iconic Nebraska album was created. It will begin streaming on Hulu and through Hulu on Disney+ starting January 23rd.
Despite some pre-awards season hype, the movie Deliver Me From Nowhere didn’t perform well financially. Released in October 2025, it earned $45.2 million globally, falling short of its $55 million production budget.
The film, based on Warren Zanes’ book, featured performances by Ethan White, Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, Gaby Hoffman, Odessa Young, and David Krumholtz. This year, White received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama.
Besides the new movie about his life, Hulu also has two other Bruce Springsteen programs available: a live performance called Bruce Springsteen: Nebraska Live and a documentary titled Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band.
Jeremy Allen White’s Next Projects
Next up for Jesse White is a new movie. Set to hit theaters on October 9th, the film stars Jeremy Strong as Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook/Meta, and also features White.
Before the release of The Social Reckoning, Giancarlo Esposito will appear in Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, which comes to theaters on May 22nd. The film is directed by Jon Favreau, who previously hinted that a new Hutt character in the movie will be different from the well-known Jabba the Hutt.
Favreau explained that having a visual style was key, noting that they were heavily inspired by existing Star Wars lore, particularly the Hutts, whom he described as a fascinating group.
He explained that the Hutts were hinted at in the original films through characters like Jabba the Hutt, reflecting what audiences remembered from their childhood. However, it was Dave Filoni and the animated series that truly expanded on their history and culture. This exploration extended to other materials like comics, including a memorable character named Grakkus, a powerful Hutt. Ultimately, these various sources showcased the diversity within the Hutt species, especially within the animated shows.
Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere will hit Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ on Jan. 23.
