The popular manga and anime series *Spy x Family* will be back for a third season on October 4th, 2025. While the manga explores major secrets within the story, the anime will continue adapting the “WISE Arc.” With the premiere still a few weeks away, details about promotional events are starting to be revealed. Following the success of last month’s charming Summer Vacation Event, which included new artwork of Anya Forger, more exciting news has arrived for some fans.
According to Mantan Web, a special screening of the series will take place on September 28th at Lawson United Cinema STYLE-S in Yokohama. The first two episodes will be shown to promote the new season. The voice actors for the Forger family – Takuya Eguchi (Loid), Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya), Saori Hayami (Yor), and Kenichiro Matsuda (Bond) – will be present to interact with the audience. The event will also be live-streamed at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku in Tokyo and other locations. While currently limited to Japan, fans worldwide can expect to hear early reactions to the new season soon.
Spy x Family Season 3 Will Be the Most Intense Anime Season Yet

The latest season ended on a sweet note with Loid and Bond successfully completing a mission and returning home. Season 3 will build on that, diving into big new storylines where the Forger family finds themselves caught up in the action. The WISE arc, which began in the previous season, will continue, and the trailer hints at a deeply emotional look into Loid’s past.
Up until now, we’ve only caught brief looks at Loid’s past, but the new season will finally show how he became Westalis’s top spy. We’ll also learn more about the terrible war between Westalis and Ostania, making their current peace feel even more important. Plus, the season will cover major story arcs like Friendship Schemes, Red Circus, and Mole Hunt, and introduce new characters – some of whom play a key role in Operation Strix.

I watched as the first season unfolded in two parts, adding up to 25 episodes. The second season was shorter, with just 12 episodes. We’re still waiting to find out how many episodes season three will have, so it’s hard to say what to expect. If they make more episodes than season two and keep a good pace, we might finally see the Term Finals Arc! Things are really going to heat up after the WISE Arc, as Loid encounters a lot of difficulties trying to complete his mission.
You can watch the first two seasons on Crunchyroll and Netflix. For the manga, you can read it on the Manga Plus app or the Viz Media website.
