STALKER 2 DLC Reveals its Main Characters

The world of STALKER is brutal and doesn’t care about your past. A skilled gunsmith can easily become a washed-up drunk, and even surviving a dangerous event in the Zone doesn’t guarantee respect – it might just label you as crazy.

There’s one character whose reputation is incredibly strong, and we’ll finally get to see him shine in STALKER 2. Everyone in the Zone, get ready to welcome back the one and only Zulu!

Zulu Returns to Bring Dignity to Duty in New DLC

Even though Zulu in STALKER: Call of Pripyat is a heavy drinker and has a difficult personality, you wouldn’t dare doubt his skills as a stalker – he’s incredibly capable.

Honestly, even after downing a ton of vodka, Zulu was a beast with his PKM. He absolutely shredded through those mutant hordes deep in Pripyat – nothing could really stop him. It was crazy how effective he was!

When the character Zulu wasn’t initially included in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, it surprised many players, including me. This led us to thoroughly explore the Cement Factory, hoping to find clues, before ultimately giving up the search.

We’ll learn more about how Zulu is coming back during Thursday’s Xbox event. Fans are hoping the new downloadable content will expand on the established groups and revitalize the Duty faction, bringing it back to its former glory.

What’s New in the STALKER 2 DLC?

GSC Game World isn’t revealing much, and the only footage we’ve seen is very short. But STALKER fans are used to limited resources – they’ve learned to make do with very little, even just sausages and vodka – so they’re determined to find out everything they can.

Details about the upcoming expansion have emerged thanks to information shared by the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 News page and a Reddit user named Practical_Career4323.

The new downloadable content appears to center around two characters who are rivals from different groups: Zulu, a strong and heavy-drinking member of Duty, and Mavka from Freedom. We don’t know much about Mavka’s background yet.

Despite drinking a lot of vodka, Zulu was still able to use his modified PKM machine gun with deadly accuracy.

The brief video shows players will be able to explore inside the power plant, including a long hallway and a sign directing them to the control room for Reactor 1.

The photos also show a newer version of the Svarog detector, the damaged inside of the SIRCAA building, and a group of Duty stalkers with their leader, who seems to be Voronin.

If you enjoyed the original trilogy, particularly battling mutants and protecting the world as part of Duty, you’re going to love this – it’s like an early Christmas present!
