
Okay, so huge news for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl fans! The developers, GSC Game World, just dropped a massive update – version 1.7, which they’re calling the “Expedition” patch. It’s one of the biggest updates the game has seen since it came out last year. Even better, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is finally hitting PlayStation 5 later this week on November 20th, which means a ton more people are going to be able to jump into the Zone. I’m stoked to see what everyone thinks!
Update 1.7 for Stalker 2 is now available on Xbox and PC, bringing hundreds of improvements to the game. The biggest changes focus on difficulty and enemy AI. A new ‘Master’ difficulty setting has been added, offering the most challenging experience Stalker 2 has to offer. The update also revamps how enemy groups claim territory and behave in battles.
Update 1.7 includes major improvements, but it’s packed with many more changes too. This patch for Stalker 2 addresses hundreds of issues, fixing problems with quests, characters, and how the game works overall. It also boosts performance and reduces crashes, making for a smoother and more enjoyable experience.
