STALKER 2: Just Business Side Mission Walkthrough

As a seasoned Stalker, the Red Forest has always been a place of mystery and danger, but this time it was different – a rescue mission for my comrade Skif, no less! The Barkeep had briefed me about the bandits causing havoc in the region, and I couldn’t resist the call to action.

The journey from Rostok to the bandit camp was treacherous, but the thrill of the hunt kept me going. I navigated through the dense forest, dodging mutants and avoiding traps with every step. The moment I reached the warehouse, I could sense the tension in the air – it was time to eliminate these bandits and save Skif.

The tunnels beneath the warehouse were suffocating, but I pushed forward, crouching low to avoid the toxic fumes. I could hear the distant sound of gunfire, a chilling reminder of the danger lurking ahead. As I climbed out of the tunnel and entered the bandit camp, I felt a sense of exhilaration – this was exactly what I had come for.

The bandits were relentless, but I took cover behind crates and returned fire with precision. I could hear their curses and screams as they fell one by one. The Pseudogiant was a formidable opponent, but I found a container to climb on and rained bullets down on it from above. Finally, the beast dropped, and I claimed my victory.

I made my way through the camp, taking out any remaining threats. As I reached the top office, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment. The mission was complete, and Skif was safe – for now. I even managed to find a few trinkets left behind by the bandits as a reminder of my victory.

As I made my way back to Rostok, I couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought that this wasn’t just a rescue mission – it was another notch on my belt in the world of the Stalker. The life of a Stalker is never easy, but the thrill of the hunt and the camaraderie with fellow explorers make it all worthwhile. And who knows what adventures await me next time I step foot into the Zone…

During your trip to Rostok Base in STALKER 2, you’ll encounter an individual known as the Barkeep underground. This character has arranged a search and rescue operation for Skif, as a gang of outlaws has set up shop in the Red Forest area, causing trouble by stealing resources and interfering with business. The journey to this forest, being quite distant from Rostok Base, can be long. Additionally, you’ll find yourself confronting several bandits within their camp, which may prove challenging.

Finding the Missing Group (Optional)

Even though locating the missing group isn’t required, it’s suggested to visit them first since it will make entering the bandit camp more straightforward. Make your way to the warehouse, as that is where they were last seen.

Upon arrival at the destination, you’ll come across the deceased members of a group, who have some additional items that can be taken. Proceed inside the warehouse, then veer left into what appears to be a locker room. There, you’ll encounter a wounded individual named Carl. Utilize a medkit to restore his health, and in return, he’ll provide Skif with a key to unlock the tunnels.

Getting Inside the Bandit Base in Red Forest

To get to the tunnels, make your way up the stairs near the locker room and traverse the walkway to the opposite side of the warehouse. On that side, you’ll find a group with a ladder – go ahead and descend using it to find yourself at the entrance of the tunnels.

As a gamer, I found myself creeping through the dimly lit tunnels, dodging noxious vapors that could easily harm me if I stood upright. To stay safe, I kept crouching for most of my journey. Eventually, I reached a ladder, which I ascended to find a bandit on high alert up top. Swiftly, I took him out. Continuing forward, I emerged into an open area – the bandit camp.

Eliminating All Threats in the Bandit Base

Upon reaching the bandit encampment, it’s crucial to eliminate any bandits who attack you. Be mindful of your surroundings as there are numerous bandits in the area and they’ll shoot at Skif from various directions. Once the bandits have been dealt with, a Pseudogiant will come charging towards you.

The Pseudogiant has a large amount of health and can be tough to defeat as it knocks Skif over onto his back. A good approach in this situation would be to scale one of the nearby crates and fire at the Pseudogiant from a safe position. After dealing with it, you may choose to remove the electronic collar from the mutant (if needed). Then, make your way to the opposite end of the bandit camp.

You’ll find large crates piled together close by, which will assist you in ascending to the upper office of the Bandit Camp. Utilize the protrusions on the side of the building to climb through the window and eliminate the final bandit within the camp. Completing this mission labeled “Just Business” will allow you to return to the Barkeep in Rostok, where you can collect your reward.
