LEGO is entering a new frontier with its first-ever Star Trek set! Announced on Star Trek Day in September, LEGO and Star Trek fans are now getting a sneak peek just in time for the holidays.
LEGO has officially unveiled its new Star Trek set: a detailed replica of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. The 3,600-piece set will cost $399 and will be available starting November 28, 2025. Fans who purchase the Enterprise between November 28th and December 1st will also receive a special bonus: a Star Trek Type 15 Shuttlepod and nine mini-figures, including the ship’s captain, Jean-Luc Picard.
This LEGO set belongs to the Icons collection, which features impressive builds like famous landmarks, detailed buildings, classic vehicles, popular culture items, and beautiful home décor. LEGO describes these sets as high-quality and display-worthy for enthusiasts.
LEGO and Star Trek announced their partnership on Instagram with a video narrated by Jonathan Frakes, known for his role in the series. The video showcases the LEGO Enterprise spaceship flying through space and provides a detailed look at the new collectible minifigures. The ship model includes a secondary hull, warp nacelles, and an opening shuttlebay complete with two miniature shuttlecraft.
This set of collectible mini-figures features iconic characters from Star Trek: The Next Generation, including Captain Picard, Commander Riker, Worf, Data, Dr. Crusher, Geordi La Forge, Deanna Troi, Guinan, and Wesley Crusher. Each figure comes with a unique accessory – like Data’s cat, Spot, and Riker’s trombone with a stand. Designed for adult collectors, the set also includes a display stand, an informational plaque, and a tile displaying the Star Trek: The Next Generation logo.
Trek Fans Are Thrilled with the Collab

The announcement of official LEGO Star Trek sets sparked excitement among fans on Instagram. User songs_of_kahless expressed their long-awaited dream, writing, “Let’s gooo. Waited since my childhood for an Official Lego Star Trek set!” Another user, bluefunk83, jokingly celebrated living to see this day, while _.ash.g.c simply called it “everything I could have ever asked for.”
A brief 15-second video was shared on Instagram to preview the new LEGO set. The clip shows a LEGO Captain Picard beaming onto the U.S.S. Enterprise transporter pad, wearing his red Starfleet uniform. While LEGO has created sets based on popular franchises like Harry Potter, this is the first time they’ve made a Star Trek set, specifically the U.S.S. Enterprise-D.
The new Star Trek X LEGO set will be available on Nov. 28 on the official LEGO website.
