With projects like the Knights of the Old Republic remake, a Star Wars game from Amy Hennig, and Star Wars Eclipse still uncertain, Fate of the Old Republic could be exactly what fans have been waiting for.
The highly anticipated game, Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, was unveiled at The Game Awards 2025 with a stunning cinematic trailer now available on the official Star Wars YouTube channel. Leading the project is Casey Hudson, the director of the beloved Knights of the Old Republic. While a release date hasn’t been announced, the trailer confirms the game is currently in development for both consoles and PC.
