Fuse Games and Secret Mode just dropped a new trailer for their upcoming racing game, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, during the recent State of Play event. The trailer jumps right into the fast-paced action, skipping lengthy introductions to the story. You can watch it below.
I’m so excited for Star Wars: Galactic Racer! It’s all about this underground racing league way out in the Outer Rim called the Galactic League. Apparently, this guy Kestar Bool totally runs the show at the beginning, using some shady connections to win. You play as Shade, a racer who has it out for the Bool family, and your mission is to challenge Kestar and take him down. It sounds awesome!
The developers of Star Wars: Galactic Racer are promising a campaign mode where player choices impact the story and unlock new vehicle parts, tools, and upgrades. Players will be able to race a variety of vehicles, including fast skim speeders, speeder bikes, and classic podracers inspired by The Phantom Menace.
The game will let up to 12 players race together in a variety of modes. If you want a fast-paced experience, Arcade mode offers quick time trials and challenges your driving skills. Scenarios mode will also be available, giving players unique and interesting race setups.
Get ready to race through the galaxy! Star Wars: Galactic Racer will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S later this year. You can watch the game’s announcement trailer, which was originally released in December, now.
