Star Wars is Getting a “Big” Game Announcement Soon, Unrelated to Eclipse and Zero Company – Rumor

With The Game Awards approaching, speculation about upcoming game reveals is heating up. Gaming insider Kurakasis recently hinted that a major Star Wars game announcement is on the way soon.

Just to be clear, this isn’t about Star Wars: Zero Company (the strategy game from Bit Reactor and EA), or Quantic Dream’s Star Wars: Eclipse, which has been in development for a while. That means the new game is likely either Respawn Entertainment’s follow-up to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, or Saber Interactive’s remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Although Electronic Arts hasn’t formally announced Star Wars Jedi 3, they did state in 2024 that a concluding game in the series is being developed. The previous two games, Jedi: Survivor and Fallen Order, have already been played by over 40 million people, and that number has likely grown since then.

The remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remains shrouded in mystery. Development began with Aspyr, a studio under the Embracer Group, but faced setbacks due to internal issues. Saber Interactive then took over the project and now fully owns it after separating from Embracer. While details are promised when ready, some concept art of the planet Kashyyyk and early level designs have already appeared online.
