Although details about gameplay for “Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – Remake” are still under wraps, a new artwork supposedly surfaced recently. As reported by MP1st, this artwork apparently comes from an Aspyr concept artist who was at the studio until 2021 and features Kashyyyk.
Kashyyyk, known as the home world of the Wookies, was introduced for the first time in “Star Wars: Episode 3 – Revenge of the Sith.” This planet is heavily forested, enabling extensive treehouse dwellings. In the reimagined version, these living quarters would be more lavish and intricate. The forestation is even denser, but how it will look in the game remains a mystery.
In September 2021, it was revealed that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – Remake would be available exclusively on PS5. However, subsequent developments indicated that there might have been issues with Aspyr’s work on the project, which reportedly led to Saber Interactive stepping in to manage it.
After separating from the Embracer Group, it’s been verified that the remake continues to thrive and further information will be shared at an appropriate moment. As usual, keep an eye out for future announcements.
