Wow, it’s been a busy year for farming sim fans like me! We’ve seen a bunch of new games come out, some really good – like *Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar* which felt like a classic *Harvest Moon* game – and others that just didn’t quite hit the mark, like *Pixelshire*. But honestly, *Stardew Valley* is still king, and the sales prove it! Still, there’s been one game getting a lot of buzz as a possible challenger while in Early Access, and I’m so excited that the developers have finally announced when *Fields of Mistria* 1.0 will officially launch!

NPC Studio’s charming farming game, *Fields of Mistria*, entered Early Access in August 2024. Players who tried the pre-release version have enjoyed its detailed farming gameplay, cute pixel art style, and the lively, engaging personalities of the villagers. While the game has received consistent updates during Early Access, many players chose to wait for the official 1.0 release. Now, *Fields of Mistria* has announced it will fully launch in 2026.

Fields of Mistria Roadmap Reveals Next Major Update & 1.0 Release Plans

NPC Studio recently shared an updated plan for their game, *Fields of Mistria*. The next big update during Early Access is called “The Mines Update,” and fans are already excited. But the biggest news is that NPC Studio has also revealed plans for the full 1.0 launch of *Fields of Mistria*, currently scheduled for sometime in 2026. It seems we’ll get one last major update while the game is in Early Access before the official launch.

Here’s the latest roadmap for Fields of Mistria! Update 4, called ‘The Mines Update,’ is coming in early 2026. It will finish the Mines storyline and introduce a new, hidden romance option. You can also get a sneak peek at our plans for the full 1.0 release. Read more details here:

A big update is coming in early 2026, adding new quests, skills, and character customization options. The highlight will be a new romance option with a full set of Heart Events (up to 8 Hearts). After this update, the developers at NPC Studio will concentrate on finishing and releasing the full 1.0 version of the game.

When *Fields of Mistria* officially launches in 2026, players will be able to reach a 10-Heart relationship level with their favorite characters and get married in the game. The launch will also wrap up the Town Repair storyline, add new quests and rewards, and include plenty of new cosmetic items. For players who enjoy challenges, *Fields of Mistria* will feature achievements at launch, providing an extra sense of accomplishment.

The initial 1.0 release will include the complete story we originally planned. But the team at NPC Studio has hinted at more content and surprises coming after that. We’re not sure exactly how much more will be added, but looking at games like *Stardew Valley*, even finished games can continue to evolve and grow with new updates.

Currently, *Fields of Mistria* is launching only on PC. It works with the Steam Deck in its Early Access version and is expected to continue working on the Steam Deck when the full game is released. The developers at NPC Studios say they will consider bringing the game to other platforms sometime after the full release.
