The highly anticipated game, Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War!, has arrived, and its new trailer perfectly captures the game’s intense and frantic action.
The game features a diverse range of environments, taking players across a large area controlled by The Federation. You’ll defend locations like crumbling cities, industrial areas, overrun wastelands, and lush islands from waves of enemies in a quick and frantic gameplay loop. We’ve really enjoyed our experience with it and highly recommend it to fans of classic ‘boomer shooters’.
The trailer showcases the Assassin bug’s gameplay, which feels incredibly powerful. The bug can easily defeat Federation troops, and the game offers a lot of variety. Beyond playing as Federation soldiers fighting off waves of spiders and insects, there are different modes to keep things interesting as you’re swarmed by enemies.
You’re definitely not defenseless! You’ll battle enemies from both land and air using a diverse arsenal of weapons, all presented with a charming, old-school visual style. The game is available on PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S. You can find our full review here.
