Sony officially confirmed the upcoming “State of Play” livestream for Borderlands 4 will air tomorrow, April 30th. The event promises approximately 20 minutes filled with missions, powerful weapons, thrilling Action Skills, new and reappearing characters, among other exciting elements. The broadcast kicks off at 10pm British Summer Time (BST), 2pm Pacific Time (PT), or 5pm Eastern Time (ET).
Graeme Timmins from the creative team at Gearbox shared on the PlayStation Blog that we’re in for an immersive exploration of Borderlands 4. During this exclusive State of Play event, he’ll be joined by other team members to reveal the intricate details of how players will cause chaos across Kairos and defeat the Timekeeper.
Besides the State of Play broadcast, Gearbox has also disclosed an advancement in the Borderlands 4 release date on PS5 to 12th September 2025. Essentially, this means that the FPS game will launch two weeks ahead of its initial plan, which might provide a wider gap for GTA 6’s arrival.
