If you’re trying to avoid learning details about the new Resident Evil Requiem game before it comes out, it’s best to limit your time online for the next few days. Copies of the game are being sent to stores now, and as often happens, some people are getting them early. This means spoilers are starting to show up on the internet.
Over the last few days, players have begun sharing details about the upcoming game Resident Evil Requiem after getting early access. This has led to story spoilers and gameplay information Capcom hadn’t officially revealed appearing online. Capcom hasn’t commented on these leaks, which is typical for major game releases.
If you don’t want to see spoilers before playing Resident Evil Requiem next week, be extra careful online. I suggest muting keywords related to the game on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to avoid seeing spoilers in your feed until you’ve had a chance to play it yourself.
Capcom Has Been Very Secretive With RE Requiem

Capcom has been unusually tight-lipped about Resident Evil Requiem compared to previous Resident Evil games. Even though leaks revealed Leon Kennedy’s appearance years ago, Capcom didn’t officially confirm it until December. This suggests they’re working hard to keep the game’s surprises a secret. Because of this, and for the best possible experience, it’s probably better to go into Requiem knowing as little as possible.
The new game, Resident Evil Requiem, will be available on February 27th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Keep checking back with ComicBook this week for more updates and details!
